1. Tell us about yourself? 

-  My name is Adel Bruyns, from the Democratic Republic of Congo. I have been in South Africa since 2003 and have been doing hair since then.

-  Adel’s Hair Salon

3. What services do you offer?

-  I do all types of fefemalesair

4. What drives and motivates you in business?

-    What motivates me is the joy on my client’s fafacesnce I’m done doing their hair and hearing that they are happy with the result. I love making people look beautiful.

5. What sets you apart from other entrepreneurs in your line of work?

-   It is not always about the money, I make sure that my clients have healthy hair, and maintain good relations with each one of them. What sets me apart is that I pay attention to detail and look after my client’s hair, I take care of their hair so they don’t have to stress about it.

-  I am based in Centurion, but I also do house calls around surrounding areas at an extra fee.

-  When you do something, do it well or don’t do it at all.

9. Do you have any challenges in your line of work? how do you work around that? How do you overcome it?

-  Yes I do face challenges with difficult clients, but as is known, clients are Kings and Queens, so I exercise a lot of patience.
